Pluot

Ever had a pluot? It is a cross between a plum and an apricot. Chef Lisa will be using a pluot sauce atop salmon at her cooking demonstration at the Farmer’s Market Oct 10th.

Every day our chefs create new and different soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, appetizers, and desserts as specials. Today’s sandwich creation by Lisa was outrageous - grilled chicken, sauteed mushrooms, bacon, smoky mozz, egg, arugula and pesto. Wow, I’m speechless.

Dan Jackson’s harvest is in full swing right now with fantastic heirloom tomatoes that burst with flavor. We will be using his tomatoes and potatoes in our menu and to make salads for the upcoming Futurewise “Feast With Friends”.

Last night Bmac concocted a new and worthy cocktail - The St. Germain

Elderflower liqueur with Dogpoint Sauv Blanc, soda and topped with orange zest. Truly unique and delicious.
