For those looking for great resources on our current food systems issues, Squash & Vine has a great list of books,

We have fresh morels from Dishman Mica area on the menu. Nice find DB!

High five Spokane for highlighting “Bike to Work Week”. Just because the week is almost over does not mean you can’t ride to work through the summer. In fact, because we are an official Bike to Work Week Energizer Station, we will continue to give $3 draft beer to anyone with the bike to work card for the entire year.
Our parking lot is already a popular meeting place for rides so remember after you’re done, Guinness is good for you.

My brother, Dean has been a beekeeper and gardener for years and the Spokesman just highlighted Dean’s lifestyle and beekeeping in an extensive Wednesday article, Buzz Factor.
