Nodland Cellars Private Blend

Friday, December 14th, 2007

We have the good fortune of being the first restaurant in Spokane to offer this delicious new blend created locally by Tim and Tracy Nodland at Nodland Cellars. This wine is fantastic. - truly hand made from start to finish and although this is probably the first time you have seen the label, this is Tim and Tracy’s 9th vintage. They have been quietly honing their luscious liquid art for years and have entered the market with a bang. “Private Blend” is both big and elegant with complex yet smooth layers. It pairs deliciously with our Pork Osso Buco, Tenderloin and Duck Breast. A big round of applause for the Nodlands! Starting today we will introduce this Bordeaux styled blend by the glass so come taste for yourself this latest entrance to Spokane’s already great selection of locally produced wines.

Dry Fly Night

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

Wait ’til you taste the special drinks Tena has prepared for the Tuesday Dry Fly night;

“The One That Got Away” - fresh squeezed apple, 2 oz. Dry Fly vodka, soda and a slice of Pink Lady Washington apple served in a highball.

“Bees Knees” - honey, lemon and 2 oz. Dry Fly gin served in a highball glass, of course.
Chef Blaine has a couple food special surprises up his sleeve too. The only clues I have are Vodka bouillabaisse and Drunken pork Hmmmm.
